Iñigo serves as Associate at MxO since November 2020. Prior to MxO, he worked as a Senior Analyst at Afore Profuturo in the Alternative Investments area, focused on the Infrastructure and Energy sector. During this time, he was in charge of carrying out the evaluation and due diligence of various projects, co-investment transactions and analysis of instruments such as SPACs and Fibras E. Before joining the Alternative Investments team, he worked in the Economic Analysis area of the Afore, helping to formulate the Investment Committee’s strategic vision of asset allocation. Iñigo has a degree in Economics from the Universidad Iberoamericana and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin-McCombs School of Business.
Mar serves as Associate at MxO since September 2020. Previously, she worked at MRP in the Real Estate Investment area, in charge of the development and management of real estate projects. During this period, she was responsible for managing the portfolio of both CKDs, investor relations and financial and operational analysis of the assets. Mar also worked at Artha Capital as Senior Analyst in the Investment area of Hospitality projects. She has over 10 years of experience in the financial sector in Mexico and is member of the board of directors of a financing and leasing company. Mar holds a degree in International Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana and an MBA from IPADE Business School in Mexico City.
Miguel servs as CEO of MxO since May 2020. Previously, he worked as Managing Director at Discovery Americas, in charge of originating and managing the portfolio. Before working at Discovery Americas, he was responsible for the alternative investment portfolio at Afore Profuturo. He also worked at Palacio de Hierro as head of profitability and special projects and at Industrias Peñoles in different positions within the financial division. He currently serves as a member of the board of directors of a leasing company and has served on the boards of several companies in the financial, health, education and logistics sectors. He also serves as a member of the investment committee of a major Mexican venture capital fund. He is an Industrial Engineer from the Universidad Iberoamericana and an MBA from the Carnegie Mellon University-Tepper School of Business.
